Why are there two (2) Flashes on the GS2000 (What is the purpose of each)?

The GS2000 could be interfaced with two serial flashes, one inside the module (on-module flash) and one outside (off-module flash). On-module flash is interfaced to GS2000 silicon over high speed four line SPI bus, to which the code is downloaded (it's also the place holder of web pages and file system) and hence its mandatory. Whereas Off-module flash is optional based on customer requirements like data logging, peripheral chip code storage etc (GEPS could mount a file system in off-module flash as well). Off-module flash is interfaced to GS2000 over SPI bus.
